It is a bowl of water with some clear glass pellets in the bottom. I spashed with one hand and shot the photo with the other. And this 'bottle-like' shape showed up at that exact moment. I don't know the source of the shadows, or why it appears there is an edge or 'cliff' in the lower background.
The pellets provided something for 'shape', here. But other than that, this happens faster than the blink of an eye. This structure is so tiny, that if I had placed the tip of my forefinger on top of the ball/buble at top, if that were even possible, it would not even be as wide as single ridge of my fingerprint. |
